Features

A full breakdown of Trove's platform capabilities, organised by area.

Storefront Management

Brands can create and manage multiple storefronts from a single vendor account. Each storefront is independently configured with its own products, shipping rules, payment settings, branding, and domain.

  • Multiple storefronts per account - run separate storefronts for different markets, campaigns, or client groups
  • Storefront duplication - clone a complete storefront including products, shipping, digital cards, locations, settings, and integrations; the new copy is set to "For Review" status automatically
  • Password-protected storefronts - restrict access to invite-only or internal gifting portals
  • Storefront statuses - For Review, Active, Inactive, Demo, Trashed

Product Management

  • Add and manage products with images, variations, and attributes
  • Support for product customisations (e.g. engraving, personalisation options)
  • Import products directly from ecommerce integrations (see Integrations below)
  • Control product availability per storefront

Multi-Recipient Ordering

Trove is built around bulk, multi-recipient orders. A single order can have any number of recipients, each with their own shipping address, delivery note, and scheduled send date.

Bulk Recipient Upload

Rather than entering recipients one by one, customers can upload a spreadsheet:

  • CSV templates are available for AU, NZ, US, SG, and GB
  • Each row includes: first name, last name, email, optional shipping address fields, and an optional delivery note
  • The platform processes the list, creates individual recipient records, resolves per-recipient shipping zones, and calculates costs
  • A summary is returned showing successful and failed rows
  • Large uploads are processed asynchronously via AWS SQS

Multi-Address Shipping

  • Each recipient in an order can have a unique shipping address
  • Shipping rules are configured per vendor using shipping zones mapped to state codes and postcodes
  • The system detects when recipients span different zones and calculates per-recipient shipping costs individually
  • Each recipient tracks: shipping carrier, tracking number, tracking link, and shipping status (Not Shipped, In Transit, Delivered)

Delivery Methods

Three delivery methods are supported, and each storefront can be configured to offer one or more:

Method Description
Deliver Direct Physical gift shipped directly to the recipient's address
Email Link Recipient receives a personalised email with a unique redemption link to claim their gift
Create a Link A single shareable link is generated; anyone with the link can claim a gift up to a configured quantity limit

Digital Gift Delivery

  • Recipient receives a personalised email containing a unique redemption code
  • The link leads to a gift landing page where they can view and accept their gift
  • Accepting triggers the redemption and updates the order status
  • A single shareable link is generated with a global redemption code
  • Each redemption from that link creates a new recipient record
  • A quantity limit controls how many times the link can be used

Digital Cards / eCards

  • Brands create custom digital card designs (images, custom HTML, brand colours, logo, and an optional video URL)
  • Cards are assigned to an order at checkout and delivered embedded in or alongside the gift notification email

Payment & Billing

  • Card payments via Stripe
  • Invoice-based payments for larger or more complex corporate orders
  • Tax configuration by location
  • Discount codes and cart-level discounts
  • Fee transfer modes - brands can choose whether to absorb platform fees or pass them to the customer (None / Half / Full)

Notifications & Email

All transactional emails are tracked with a delivery status (Created, Pending, Sent, Failed, Bounced) including open and click tracking.
