We at Trove, provided by Elliephant Gifts Group Pty Ltd, ("Trove," "we," "us," or "our") know that privacy is important to you. This Privacy Policy explains what kinds of personal information we may collect through our services and when you interact with us in any way. It also outlines how we use and disclose that information, the steps we take to keep it secure, your choices, and how you can contact us. Capitalised terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings set out in our Terms of Use.

By accessing and/or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of its terms, please do not use the Services.

When you send a gift, you may be required to provide personal information such as your name, email address and phone number, as well as the name and phone number of the gift recipient ("Contact Information"). This is used to provide the requested service.

B. Shipping Information¶

Gift recipients are required to provide shipping details including name, shipping address, email address, and phone number ("Shipping Information").

C. Other Information¶

We may also collect additional information regarding your use of our Services, interactions with us, and information about your device:

Device and technical data (e.g., type of device, operating system, IP address, browser type)
Usage data (e.g., time spent, features used, referring pages)
Cookies and tracking technology (e.g., session and persistent cookies)

D. Information Collected When You Claim a Gift¶

When you claim a gift sent via Trove, you consent to the respective brand and Trove collecting and processing your personal data for the sole purpose of administering and fulfilling that gift. This may include your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and any information required to deliver the gift.

Your personal data will not be used for marketing or any other purpose unrelated to fulfilling the gift unless you have separately opted in.

If you wish to withdraw your consent or request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, you may do so by contacting Trove support via the details provided in this Privacy Policy.

We use your information to:

Provide and manage the Services
Facilitate gifting processes
Improve our offerings
Communicate with you
Comply with legal obligations

Service Providers and Partners (e.g., logistics, tech support, marketing)
Merchants and gift senders/recipients, as necessary to complete transactions

Our Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party sites.

6. Accessing and Modifying Your Information¶

You may access, update or delete your information by contacting us at support@gotrove.ai. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in the message. Transactional emails are required for service continuity.

7. Do Not Track¶

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

8. Notice to Australian Residents¶

Trove complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You have the right to request access to, or correction of, your personal information. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached.

9. International Data Transfers¶

If you are located outside Australia and use our Services, your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia, where privacy laws may differ. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.
